The Forehead & Ear Infrared Thermometers (models: NIT320, NIT420, and NIT820) are devices powered by batteries designed to measure human body temperature with measuring range between 32°C to 42.9°C. The temperature can be measured in °Celsius or in °Fahrenheit. The temperature can be taken from the forehead or ears. The value of the energy radiated there is measured and converted to a temperature value. All models NIT320, NIT420, and NIT820 consist of a LCD display, probe lens, and battery compartment. All these devices have a measuring range between 32°C ~ 42.9°C (89.6°F - 109.2°F) from forehead and ear measurements, and are automatically switched off after 13 seconds when not in use. The thermometers can automatically switch from forehead mode to ear mode by taking off the probe cover and are powered by 2 units of AAA batteries.
The Forehead & Ear Infrared Thermometer is intended to take human body temperature via the eardrum or forehead. It is indicated for people above three months old. It applies to both professional use and home use.
